Art is an undeniable necessity, an intrinsic element that defines my life. From my first Crayola - I was hooked. My early work was illustrative in nature which helped to develop my solidunderstanding of drawing and composition. Today my focus is on the moreorganic, natural designs of nature. Preferring to paint with professional soft pastel, I enjoy the immediacy ofthe medium and its saturation of colour. My work is painted on both canvaspanels and sanded paper, with or without a watercolour or acrylic underpainting.
