Dottie Gantt Online Art Listing Award-winning southern artist Dottie Gantt uses quiltmaking and other art techniques to create her original, one-of-a-kind contemporary art quilts, fiber art, and mixed media art. Working spontaneously, Dottie enjoys inter-mixing different art techniques, adding unexpected and hidden surprises that are not obvious at first or second glance, and experimenting with incorporating unusual fabrics/mediums. Dottie combine colors and patterns to create the right effect, and sometimes adding subtle embellishments for playful pleasure. Dottie says that her art work talks to her and tells her what to do.
