Robert Habel Online Art Listing

Robert Habel's artwork has been heavily influenced by growing up in Northern Tasmania, and having access to a variety of landscapes close by. His early art school paintings were completed on site in the landscape. Working 'en plein air' sets up a range of challenges, which are still the cornerstone to his art practise. Robert aims to bring to the canvas some of the experiences of working outdoors such as changing weather conditions, variations in light, interference of outside elements, interpreting scale, and often, personal discomfort.
