 South Island Dream 6 Lois Isaacs Online Art Listing Lois began her painting career as a young mother in Mosgiel, Otago, New Zealand. A move to Paengaroa, Bay of Plenty, several years after her husband's early death, had a quantum impact on her work. The change of landscape was dramatic, reinforcing her love of naked hills and mountains. A growing love of figure drawing has enabled her work to evolve along exciting lines as human and land form merge. Her love of people makes Lois a popular and competent teacher of mixed media and watercolour techniques. She conducts regular Workshops and Painting Holidays in her lovely home and studio. Students are accomodated, catered for and tutored by this talented woman. |
