Jackie K. Ivey-Weaver was born in Richmond, Kentucky. An early interest in fabrics and dress design led her to study art at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia for two years. Jackie opened her art studio to students of painting, drawing and sculpture in 1991. The Art Studio School continues to thrive. The students are dedicated to learning and creating in many visual and emotional avenues. They have won awards in local art competition.
