Cory Jaeger-Kenat Online Art Listing Artist Cory Jaeger-Kenat channels her insatiable curiosity about life into paintings widely divergent in style and subject matter. In one ongoing series, entitled 'Men', Cory is creating her biography through portraits of the men she has known and loved. Along the way, questions about the nature of attraction, intimacy, gender, and the strange masks of love and hate are raised and explored. She is also deeply engaged in other projects, including pieces best described as metaphysical talismans, unconventional landscapes, postcard-sized abstract works, and pieces dealing with the private thoughts of women. |
