My name is Christine Kane and I have two passions: painting and nature. After experimenting with many mediums, I fell in love with pastels simply for their brilliant pure colors. I live in Illinois and my art concentrates on the Midwest landscapes. My goal is to bring out colors in the landscape that might be overlooked or unnoticed and to give the viewer the ability to become excited to be connected to nature through one person's interpretation.
