 Shades of White Karl Leitzel Online Art Listing Karl Eric Leitzel was born in 1957 and has lived most of his life in rural Pennsylvania. After a period of concentrating on realistic wildlife painting in the 1990s, he took 9 years off to recharge his creative batteries. He is now painting again, with new energy and a focus on a more impressionistic approach, plein air landscape painting, and artist community building. He recently founded Landscape Artists International, which has grown to more than 55 members, representing 10 countries, in its first three months. Karl works mainly in oils, with an emphasis on light and mood. |
