 A Walk In The Woods Li Mahalik Online Art Listing Concept is everything. When I paint, my goal is to make the painting a feast to the eye, to arouse that part of us that appreciates the beauty of our existence. Technically, I try to focus on what makes a painting truly Painterly: a composition that pleases the eye; subject matter that invokes timelessness; the right values and color temperatures that define the light; and the personal romance with the subject matter which consequently creates the mood. My most recent project is to create more Abstract paintings, something that I have always wanted to do. |
