 Gladiators Jan Rapp Online Art Listing Jan was born in Sweden in 1941 and lived there until 1998 when he married Denise and moved to United States and Modesto, California. He wanted to pursue a new career as an artist and studied art with professors Petersen, Reilly and Serros from 1998 to 2001. After that Jan has attended workshops with several recognized artists but he still regards himself as mainly an autodidact. Jan is a prolific artist who paints in a contemporary, sometimes realistic, sometimes impressionistic, painterly style, that is widely recognized and appreciated. From 2002 until today he has won many awards in juried art shows. |
