John R. Salko Online Art Listing John Salko, a former Marine, is a talented artist, naturalist, poet, horticulturist and a master carpenter. His colorful abstract paintings emerge with a willful presence and strength that rivet the eye. He employs such innovative techniques that the viewer is drawn into his complex designs of color and movement. Along with his use of brilliant colors, he also paints intriguing black and white abstracts. Now in his mid-fifties, he resides in Maine with his wife, Karen, a screenwriter and film producer. |
