Louwtjie Kotzé is a Fine Artist who paints in oils on canvas or board and specializes in portraits. She is a qualified teacher in Remedial

Education and Educational Guidance, who taught in various schools for 21 years. Louwtjie is also a qualified marriage counselor who gives lectures nationwide at marriage seminars.

She started painting at the age of 50 (the age of New Beginnings!) while recuperating from a very long illness. Louwtjie is the daughter of the late Nana Steyn, an artist from the Strand, Western Cape. Her calling as an artist, is to create God-inspired Art Works. She has a passion for people (especially little ones) and is very determined to paint until she is 100 years old - at least!

Louwtjie Kotzé's motto in life is: Life’s too short for rubbish, so have a good day on purpose! The reason why she is here on earth, is: To Nurture, to Create and to Teach. She believes that one learns something every day, which is why she tries to attend as many workshops and art weeks as she possibly can, where she has been under the tutelage of many famous South African artists since she started painting. She regularly exhibits and have sold numerous Art Works to clients throughout South Africa.
