Thomas Paquette Online Art Listing
Thomas Paquette’s work has been the subject of more than forty solo exhibitions at prominent art galleries (in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Portland) and museums (Georgia Museum of Art, Erie Art Museum, Westmoreland Museum of American Art) nationally. Dozens of his paintings have been selected to hang in eleven U.S. diplomatic facilities around the world, including embassies in St. Petersburg, Athens, Rome, Vienna, Santiago, and Taipei. Besides being awarded the three-year Residency-Fellowship from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, he had a visiting artist residency at the American Academy in Rome and also with the Aegean Arts and Cultural Exchange on the island of Mytilini. He has completed several large commissions for the Federal Reserve Bank and the states of Minnesota, Maine, and Montana; and his paintings are also aboard the opulent Queen Mary 2. A book with 110 of his gouache paintings was published in 2007 for a show that traveled to museums. Originally from Minneapolis and living for a decade in Maine, he now lives with his wife at the edge of the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania.
