 Storybox Amy Patricia Komar Online Art Listing Amy Patricia Komar's artist statment: As a painter and ceramic artist, my work contains a high degree of narrative content. I specialize in storyboxes: vessels or boxes, made from either wood or clay, that incorporate text fragments and symbolic content based on interviews. Some of the storyboxes are commissions. Trickster folktales are another favorite subject of mine. I also work in collaboration with my partner, Ron Kalinoski, in our small ceramic business, Stoneharp Studios. |
