Laurie Hoover-Atwood's artist statement: The art critic and professor of International art, Dept.of Art in Duca, Italy calls my art, "Versatility, unpredictable and refreshing..." I strive to bring emotion into every painting. I want my art to reflect the beauty of life, whether it be nature, people or animals. I love to experiment and explore new techniques and styles. I enjoy the challenge of painting something that feels you can reach out a touch it. However, I also enjoy the element of surprise changing color or textures. All art purchase goes to help abused, orphaned and at risk children. It is art with a purpose!
