Mikhail Onanov's artist statement: I'm an Art teacher at middle Truman College. I have been painting all my life. My favorite style is impressionism. After I've moved to Chicago from Azerbaijan dozen of years ago, I felt in love with Chicago's architecture and I have created a lot of cityscape oil paintings. My other favorite is figurative paintings. I used mixed media when it fits.
