Helen Normandeau's artist statement: I am a visual artist with a special interest in the MANDALA as an art form. My mandalas are non-traditional, are inspired by patterns in nature, by Sacred Geometry, by poetry (eg. Hafiz), by spiritual / ecological authors. I paint in gouache mostly, because of the intense nature of this medium.
