Gina Grundemann paints scenes and subjects that are largely inspired by the agriculture, architecture and landscapes of the western slope of Colorado. The rural landscape has always been a strong influence in Gina’s imagery. The artist grew up in the Rocky Mountains of western Montana where she spent many weekends and summers on her grandparent’s farm. Since then, she has lived throughout the Rockies in Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado. Gina currently makes her home near the San Juan Mountains in Montrose, Colorado. She earned her B.F.A. from Colorado State University. The artist has exhibited in studio art tours, solo exhibitions and juried group shows in Colorado and New Mexico.
