 Subtraction Lesley Prosser Online Art Listing At my studio on the South Coast of new South Wales I create abstract welded steel sculptures. Although I work in all sizes, from large floor pieces to ten-centimetre miniatures, my passion is creating small, domestic-scale pieces. Steel is a difficult but very rewarding medium, and I find it an exciting challenge to invest small works with the vigour, or the lovely lyric quality of large steel pieces. Very few modern living spaces can accommodate large sculptures, so I see a place for works that are small without compromising integrity or spirit. |
