Brenda Poole's artist statement: I started painting because I had lost someone in my life that I love dearly. I had no idea my struggle with grief through painting would propel me so far and teach me so much. Art is life, pictures of all the things we do, see and try to comprehend. I don't paint because I am sad anymore I paint because I am inspired by life and all it entails.

If we allow art to connect us we are propelled into the world with tolerance and understanding; we are all in this thing called life together. We are only separated from each other if we choose to be. Beauty and tolerance breed good things in all people and art like life is a reflection of this.
