 Heather Boyd Online Art Listing Heather Boyd's artist statement: I am an artist in the Exchange district in Winnipeg, I do fairly large size work in both oil and acrylic, my current focus being on this area of Winnipeg which includes the Exchange, the Waterfront, The Forks and downtown. I worked as an accountant until 2006, over 25 years in Calgary. I then decided it was time to return to Winnipeg and my love of art. I had started out in Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba but switched focus to General Arts and then later became an Accountant. I just did not feel that I could make a living as an artist. My only regret is that I did not return to Art sooner. |
