Passionate about my subject, I seek to paint what I see while adding my own visceral spirit. Sensual in composition, technique, and subject matter, my paintings articulate open-ended stories while seducing sensations in the hearts and minds of the viewer. Accurate drawing skills, sound painting techniques, and strong compositions are the foundation of my paintings. Using minimal brushstrokes to obtain visual effect, I create a sensual painting surface that, when viewed from a distance, results in strikingly realistic imagery. Although realistic depictions are my main goal, it is most important that the subject painted “feels” like the real thing. As an artist, I want to share my passion with those who appreciate the beauty, hope, and inspiration that truly great art can achieve. |
