Jan Heigh lives and paints in the Portland Oregon metropolitan area where she paints in a contemporary and abstract manner using bold and bright colors.

Her goal is to invite the viewer to enter into the painting to make their own discoveries. It is a challenge to reflect emotions through the use of paint but her wish is to always bring a feeling of joy, hope and unlimited possibilities.
