I recently graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London. My website features the work shown at Goldsmiths College Degree Show 2009. The main concern in this work is the representation of the self and its relation to flesh.The kind of anatomy expressed in my paintings is an anatomy of the unaccountable, not of the actual shape of the organs, their actual texture or form. It is an account of how it feels to be a body. The challenge is impossible, One cannot account for the body visually without its the shapes, colours and textures. However I can evoke instead of describing with anatomical precision. | ||||||
