Gail Griffiths is not a formally trained artist. Her interest in drawing portraits began at the age of ten when given tracing paper. Coming from a creative family she learned about oil painting by watching her father's mother and her own mother. Her brother's talent in photography all aspects of it peaked Gail's interest there. All these people plus many other influences guided her toward the artist she is today.
