 American Falls Karl Heerdt Online Art Listing Karl David Heerdt was born in Western New York and has always called the area home. For more than twenty years he had been a cabinet maker and had designed and built homes locally. During this time Karl become aware of and began to nurture the artist that was always a part of him, although it has been only recently, that he has taken this aspect of his nature more seriuosly. Opening a studio in Lockport's, Market Street Art Center in 2001 has proven to be rewarding. Karl is now painting and teaching art full time, and his work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Canada. Karl is represented by Meibohm Fine Arts in East Aurora New York, the Oxford Gallery in Rochester New York and the Meyer-Munson Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. |
