Carol Jessen Online Art Listing Carol Jessen has spent summers in the Boothbay area since 1980. Now, after 30 years of teaching high school English, she is free to pursue her life-long passion for painting full time. A native of St. Louis, she has had four one-woman shows in that area. Carol often says that the act of painting is like getting her eyes back, a graduation from the casual glance to the long, studied look at the color and light of the world around her. To really see takes as much time and practice as the process of painting. |
