 Blue Shadows Darrell Baschak Online Art Listing Darrell, born in The Pas, Mb., has been actively painting for over 35 years. A self taught artist, he has found acceptance in the art world by collectors, competitions and critics. His work hangs in private, corporate and government spaces around the world. Although equally comfortable working in watercolours, pastels and acrylics, his favorite medium is oil paints, usually applied with a painting knife. Genres he enjoys painting include still life's, figures, wildlife and landscapes. His current works lean somewhat to the abstract, more in keeping with the way he perceives the world. Darrell's inspiration comes from Nature, where he paints solitarily, or with friends and family. He has traveled throughout Northern and Western Canada in an attempt to satisfy his Muse. |
