Gail Mally-Mack is a professional working and teaching artist in the Detroit area. After receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree from Bennington College in Vermont, Gail taught at Oakland Community College, Wayne State University, and College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and is presently teaching at The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center and occasionally at the Detroit Art Institute.

Gail Mally-Mack Artist Statement: I have a passion for art in its creation and manifestation. The aesthetic of art; the sense of wonder that is articulated through creative expression, investigation and experimentation, is coupled with the mastery of technical skills and knowledge of art fundamentals. This blend of the imaginative and formal issues is the basis of my work as an artist.
