 Ann Chaikin Online Art Listing Ann Chaikin has loved art since her earliest childhood. She also loved music and began singing at age twelve. She took up photography when her father gave her a single-lens reflex camera. As Ann's school and work life filled, she chose to focus on photography and music and her art stayed in the background until 2000 when she went back to school for a degree in graphic design. During her studies for this degree she took a class in painting and a new love was born. In 2005 she retired and began to paint seriously. Now Ann fills her days with painting in oil, photography and singing and at last she can fully indulge all three of her great loves. Ann's paintings are about the everyday world around her and are filled with luminous color and light. |
