Ben Galloway Premium Art Listing

Born in north Louisiana, Ben Galloway grew up in New Orleans. He attended art school there in the French Quarter where he learned the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and working from the model. In the Quarter’s quaint, narrow streets, and in the city’s surrounding areas where there were old southern homes, bayous, shrimp boats, and fishing camps, he enjoyed doing a lot of plein air painting.

For all the years fine art painting has been in my life as an artist, it has been a source of real joy for me. My paintings result from my personal observation of a subject or scene I choose to portray, and from artistic license I will take to make a better picture.
